What sort of training do you need?
To become a Hairdresser usually requires completion of an Apprenticeship in Hairdressing. Entry requirements may vary, but employers generally require Year 10 as a minimum with a preference for Year 12 with good results in English. The length of the training can vary and may involve both on-the-job and off-the-job components. The off-the-job training is provided through Registered Training Organisations to Certificate III level. Full time institutional based programs are also available.Smart Move
