What sort of training do you need?

To work in Construction Steelwork usually requires completion of an Apprenticeship in Engineering – Fabrication Trade. Entry requirements may vary, but employers generally require Year 10 with good results in English and maths. The length of training can vary and may involve both on-the-job and off-the-job components. The off-the-job training is provided through Registered Training Organisations to Certificate III level. You may be able to start training for this occupation while still at school.
