Australia doubles medals from Japan competition!

Results are in from the WorldSkills International Competition in Calgary, Canada!

WorldSkills Australia is proud and privileged to announce the Skillaroos who have achieved great success in winning medals for their country.

Jessie-Lee Gladwell also received the Best of the Nation award.

All 26 members of the Skillaroos have shown great talent and dedication to achieve skills excellence over the past 12 months.

"This is a fantastic result for Australia. It shows the increase in value that we place on our skills and trades. All of these young people need to be held as role models for Australia." said Mark Callaghan CEO of WorldSkills Australia.

WorldSkills Australia would like to thank the competitors and their devoted experts and team leaders for displaying such great team spirit and passion for their skills, which has made all aspects of the International Competition most memorable.
