Welcome

Australia’s best beauty therapist, web designer, bricklayer and car painter are amongst the 29 highly skilled, success hungry competitors preparing and training for their biggest career challenge to date. The four days of competition will see over 900 international competitors from 50 countries challenged in the pursuit of skills excellence.

The Australian Team, labelled the Skillaroos, is provided time and resources to train and prepare for the International Competition. The team also consists of category experts, team leaders and trainers who dedicate their time and knowledge to the preparation of each competitor. These experts help expose our best skill advocates to new developments in other countries including new materials, tools and improved training techniques.

Our Skillaroos are determined to not only receive the accolade ‘best in the world’, but also better the current 5th place world ranking Australia holds since the 39th International Competition in Japan.
