Nash Mason

Welcome

Australia’s best beauty therapist, web designer, bricklayer and car painter are amongst the 29 highly skilled, success hungry competitors who competed in their biggest career challenge to date. The four days of competition saw over 900 international competitors from 50 countries challenged in the pursuit of skills excellence.

The Australian Team, labelled the Skillaroos, were provided time and resources to train and prepare for the International Competition. The team also consisted of category experts, team leaders and trainers who dedicated their time and knowledge to the preparation of each competitor. These experts helped expose our best skill advocates to new developments in other countries including new materials, tools and improved training techniques.

Our Skillaroos  success resulted in Australia placed  5th in the world rankings following the 40th WorldSkills International Competition in Calgary, Canada. The Skillaroos brought home a swag of medals, 2 Gold, 5 Silver, 5 Bronze and 12 Medallions of Excellence.  A very impressive feat!
